Happy Holidays!!

Well, here it is Christmas Eve, and before I hit the pavement to do some last minute shopping, I wanted to wish all of you Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!! It has been a very interesting year to say the least, and as I celebrate the Holidays, I feel very fortunate to have family, friends, and rockin'fans like you guys!! I have some cool stuff in the works for 2008, and hopefully I'll see you all out there on the road! So until then, don't party TOO hard, be safe, and I'll be seeing you real soon.....Michael

Well Mike, I'd like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.

I dont know where your home is, but it's cold here in North TX and the Harley has been put on the battery charger for the next three months, so I'm bored. I'll be posting a bunch at my Psycho Circus so please stop by if you get a chance.
Peace,

When Mr. Anthony, Let me just say, thank you! I'm in the industry and have been for the last 18 years or so and I have had a love affair with all thangs VH since 77-78! I have actually had some connection with the band as I was the Music Supervisor on the motion picture, "Die Hard With A Vengeance." Just so you know, the director (J. McTiernan would not let me put "Aftershock"in the movie..I fought for you guys with the label and the studio to the bitter end....to finally end up with a stupid score peace by Michael Kaman. Of course, he was no slouch, but no Van Halen for sure and what a great ending it would have been with VH involved...well 20 soundtracks or so later here I am at 39 years old wishing for "Summer Nights" again! I just wanted to say Happy Holidays and I recently saw the Dave show with Ed. Needless to say no Sam, no Mike, no party. Ed, you have made a giant musical mistake, and after the smoke clears from this "has been tour" I think he will realize. Not taking anything from the great early records... But, the music has seemed to leave the building. My first concert was the Texxas Jam in 80' Sammy (Standing Hampton Tour / Journey Headliners) The Red Rocker sold me from that day on! I was 12 years old then! Don't stop my friend! See you on the road and in Cabo! All the best Big Mike! Happy Holidays and heres to a GREAT 2008!

Happy Holidays Mike! I know there is a time to let dead dogs lie but I just have to say my two cents. I was 14 and used to be top 40's kinda of a girl. You are the reason I listen to rock. I never forget the day I went to my friends house and Cradle was playing with your unbelievable bass lines...I remember saying "Who the ?$%# is that?!?!" That was in 1980 and I was an instant HUGE fan. No offense to Sammy or Dave but I listened because of you and Eddie. All the other rock shows I started to go to I went to the bathroom on guitar solos :) They never sounded like music to me except for you and Ed. I could not what to see you and your JD guitar! Always a GREAT SHOW! As time went on I finally got to see you live at ou812...and believe it or not I met my soon to be husband there. Not much later gave birth to a beautiful bouncing boy. Unfortunately my husband passed a few months later. Some years passed and I was lucky enough to see you front row a few times. In 1993 or so I met you and your wonderful family at Disneyland. You had just gotten off the Matterhorn. I was so amazed how approachable and funny you were to my son and myself. The next thing I know 11 years later I am taking my son to his first rock concert, VH in 2004! We were front row in Jacksonville right in front of you! Wow...that was such an emotional full circle for me. So what is the moral to all of this rambling....Christmas morning I open my present from my son. A box of chocolates YUM!! On the back 2 floor tickets to VH. And the first thing I think of is you not there. I am sure Wolfie is fine but no comparison to you. I surely hope your travels bring you to Jacksonville Fl because I will definitely be there to see you jam. As all of this blogs say Mike you are a true class act! And as you read my rambling you see there is one consistent thing, not VH but you. I truly appreciate you and how you have influenced a great deal of my life!

I wish a GREAT 2008 to you and yours!

Hey Mike!,

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

I saw you on DirecTV's "Videos that Rocked the World" last night. Great job sharing some history about "Hot For Teacher."

You are a class act like no other. All the complementary anecdotes about Dave, Al & Ed.

I never know Phil Hartman was Waldo's voice. Good stuff!

Looking forward to seeing what you pull off in 2008.

Hey Mikey,
Hope you had a great hoiliday. For the record I saw the 2004 VH show in Anaheim and most recently saw the VH in 2007 in LA (free tickets). I did not like the LA show with Wolfie and Dave. There was big peice missing. Dont care to see the show again. Wolfie did his job but it was no Michael match. So much music VH did with Sam and not one note was played. It sucked and it gave me headach. I even left the for the oncore. Anyway, missed seeing you on stage and I am not interested in seeing any VH shows anytime in the near future. Please come out with your own CD! You can do it.

Hey Mike, I have always been a fan. Hope all is well with you. I know your "interest" with Jack Daniels, so I thought I would let you take a look at a little farm house that is now a bed and breakfast which Jack Daniels brother Wiley use to own. It is owned by an artist and song writer named Chris Gantry. Man, it is a quiet get away from everything and is about ten minutes away from the Lynchburg, Tenn. You can check a post I did about it on my blog http://joeydavis.typepad.com. Simply go to my November archives and scroll down to the post "Our Bed and Breakfast Anniversary." Lots of pictires of the place! Well, be blessed! Joey Davis

Wow it was so nice to meet you at the Barrett-Jackson auction! I can't believe how down to earth and nice you were to us. No other celebs were hanging with thier fans. Truely it was a pleasure and I would love to send you the pictures I got. Maybe we will see you at Barrett in Vegas? Or do you have any shows in Oregon coming up? Traci
