Having a Blast on the Road!

We're having a blast out here on the road and I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone that's been rocking the shows with us. Last night we played a halloween bash in South Bend, IN and tore the roof off the place! I'm looking forward to our next stop on the tour when we play in Detroit. The Mad Anthony Xpress is coming to party!

There is no musical entree without spice to give it a lift. Mike, your vocals, from the time I first heard them back in my senior year in HS 1978, have always been that spice. When I saw you at Nassau on Long Island in 1980, I kept my eyes glued to YOUR performance. Besides, Dave kept stopping the songs for announcements. Just consider me the silent majority who knows full well the vital element you gave VH and all of your projects for over 30 years. God speed, thanks-and by God, I gotta have my wife try that hot sauce. Be careful on the road.

Mike,
I saw the VH-3/4 show here in Washington DC last week, and I've gotta tell ya, I felt bamboozled. As a fan, I feel cheated in what could have been, a chance to see the original members of one of the most influential bands in Rock history. Although Wolfgang did an OK job for a 16 year old kid, I think Eddie's arrogance is keeping him from realizing that there are thousands of guitar players out there who could get up on stage and play his riffs note for note too. The genius is in creating the music, not playing it. Dave appeared to be walking on eggs the whole time he was on stage, constantly worried that he may do something to evoke Eddie’s wrath. A lead singer can’t perform very well if he’s made to feel like it’s a privilege for him to be up on stage with the rest of the band.. Both you and Dave have earned the right to be there. The real victims of Eddie’s megalomania are the fans.

- accepting the chili pepper beads
- signing my husband's MadAnthonyCafe shirt
Ouuu!!!
- respectfully kissing my hand

Someday I hope to get your sig on the banner I made & Sammy presented to the crowd and wore on stage in Akron.

Just saw your show in Milwaukee. Had front row center. The show rocked once I kicked all the riff raff from the rows behind back. Can't wait to see you guys again.

I agree with everyone that your the voice of Van Halen and no one could ever replace you, ever!
I have not ever missed a VH concert in all the years I was able to go to a concert. I usually pay good money to get the best seats of the house, however, when I heard you wouldn't be there, I refused to go and told all my friends not to go either. As that wasn't hard cause they were pissed too that you weren't going to be there. Your voice and the way you play Bass, is one of the best in the world. I am sorry that they suck, but now I want nothing to do with them anymore as long as your not in the band. I am glad I found this sight cause I just want you to know that there are some true Mike fans that say the hell with the VH family!!
I hope to see you if you ever come to Detroit and play,
Lots of love!!
