VH In The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
I was very excited and honored to learn that Van Halen would be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this March. I want to thank Eddie, Alex, Sammy and Dave. It has been an amazing experience and I am very proud of what we have accomplished. I'm not sure yet how the induction ceremony will work, but I'll keep everyone posted as I find out the details. A Big MA Toast to all our fans for their tremendous support over the years! Love you all and bottoms up!! Michael

Congratulations, Mike!!! Of everyone in the VH history, you deserve it the most!!!! You are the only one to stick with the band and keep your loyalty to the band. No ego to separate you or personal associations to alter your devotion to the band and its fans. Eddie pushed people out and Alex stayed loyal to Ed, but you stayed loyal to the men, the band and the legacy of Van Halen until their egos kicked you out. As a 40 year old businessman, I look back at the times when my three neighborhood friends and I would jam in our garage to the old VH stuff. My role was back up vocals and bass. Loved every minute of it and thank you for the indirect inspiration in my youth. What's funny now is my 11 year old son plays all the old tunes on his iPod and thinks he knows more about VH than I do. Anyway, congrats on the Hall of Fame and maybe the brothers could chill for awhile and have a great reunion. All the best. MRW

I can't say i've been listening to VH all my life, but your music has definitely helped shape my playing, and is definitely at the top of my own personal RNR HOF. What i can say though, is greetings from sunny Singapore and i do sincerely hope you have a blast of a time at the induction ceremony! :)

As much as I'd love to see VH together again w/ Dave (as rumors appear) or Sammy, I refuse to attend a reunion concert without its original bassist. Just wanted to say congrats. I think it stinks that they are going to have Eddie's son play bass. I think it is a travesty. You were by far the backbone of that band. You kept you ego at the door and made sure the fans had a hell of a time at every show. Is Wolfgang going to hit the high harmonies like you did? What happens when his voice changes halfway through the tour.

Congrats on the RnR-HF. Van Halen shapped my young life being 14 when the first album was released. I have been to many a shows and rocked out to every new record that was produced. I cannot count on both hands the number of times that I have seen VH.

I'm really sorry that the word band doesn't mean what it used to mean, and that people have to be the way they are. Congratulations on the RRHOF, you deserve it just as much as the rest of the guys. To one of the masters who gave us the classic six-pack, I salute you! I had a nice shot of Jack whenst I heard about the RRHOF. VH w/o you is not VH. First of all I would like to congratulate you on a job well done, you deserve to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, I personally think it should've happen years ago. Anyway I also would like to add that the sauce you put out is great. I went to the Hard Rock Cafe here in Houston and I chose the steak with Mad Anthony sauce and it was so delicious that I bought acouple bottles to send to my friends. They all enjoyed it too. I went to kiss you on the check and you turned your head and it landed on your lips !! What luck!! We took a picture together and then you had to get ready to go on stage so I had to go into the audience. It was awesome and I can't imagine a Van Halen concert without you. Breaks my heart. Meeting you made that concert one I will never forget. It was a gift I gave to myself for my 38th birthday - I figured what better way to go back in time and feel like a kid again then to go to a VH concert. Thanks for a great birthday, the kiss, the picture and all of the music through the years Mikey.

Local radio station and apparently DLR said he won't put ink on anything unless Mikey is on board as well. When a spokes person from the DLR camp was asked about the "New VH" photo he replied, "Rollingstone magazine paid for the shoot and story. The members were approached by them. At the time Mr. Roth thought there was still room for discussion concerning Mr. Anthony returning to the fold. We now feel that is no longer a working possibility."
Now there is also talk that VH might not perform at RRHoF. Apparently DLR said Mikey had just as much to do with their legacy and success and he wants no part of it if it is not done with ALL of the founding members.
Congrats on the HOF! Not sure what's going on with the rest of VH or this reunion without you included but nothing suprises me with the VH clan anymore. Was glad to see you and Sammy here in St. Louis last summer - one hell of a show.

I read an interview where you said you did that tour for the fans despite the crap from EVH. Just wanted to let you know this fan appreciated it, and in return I'm going to pass on the 2007 VH tour. It's not Van Halen without you.
