Soboba Cacino show cancellation

I know how dissappointing it was for everyone planning to attend the Soboba casino show to hear about the cancellation. Believe me, nobody was more dissappointed then Sam and myself!! Sammy was quite ill and trying to sing a show sick is ALOT harder to do then just having to play an instrument. I know because I've been through it! The tour is over now, but stay tuned because word has it that we will try to make up the cancelled show. I've published a comment from a person who is quite pissed about the cancellation, and I'm very sorry that someone feels that way about it. Sammy and I take great pride in what we do, THIS IS MY LIFE, DUDE!! We would not have cancelled unless we knew we could not give you fans a great show. Like I said, stay tuned and I'll let everyone know what up as soon as I know!
.....and again, THANKS FOR A ROCKIN' SUMMER!!!!!

We got 4 tickets for GA bleachers!!
Usually like to be "upfront funatics", but this is a concert we didn't even think we would get to, so it's ALL good!!! After Cabo in the Fall, an extra show in Rocktober...LIVINITUP isn't over yet!!!
PLEASE don't take the negative stuff to heart,
Dan and Karen from Bakersfield, Ca

Don't let the putz get to you, Mikey! Sure, it's disappointinig to look forward to something then miss out on it. But that dude needs to understand that the decision to cancel a show doesn't come easily, especially when you've got tickets sold and semis full of equipment sitting in the parking lot of the venue ready to go. You guys have been on the road for over thirty years - you have a pretty good idea if you're up to putting on a show or not. Thanks for the great show in Mountainview!

That guys is just so bitter. Damn Michael is saying they are planning on making it up and he's all whinning. Sounds like some one must have been an only child and got what ever he wanted. Bravo to you for always going to work sick and I'm sure all your coworkers thank you for giving it to them too. Suck it up and wait you big baby! I saw you in San Jose Micheal ( Arcadia!) and You made my night. Thanks for a great concert!

Mike,

If you guys do make up the Saboba show, would you please consider re-scheduling the Tulsa concert that was cancelled back in July. We're dying to see you guy in Oklahoma!

And again, thanks for taking the time and caring about your fans.

Mike
I for one am glad that you all decided to cancel and reschedule the show. If Sam had come out done 4-5 songs coughing and wheezing. Then pulled an Axel Rose on us I am sure we would have all been pissed. Instead we will get to have our own show. Oh and only one guy gets pissed. I think its well worth it.

Michael thanks for posting about the tour all summer. I have really enjoyed it. I am also sooo grateful that you guys have decided to re-schedule Soboba in October. I was one of the many fans disapointed when we drove up and saw the signs that the concert had been canceled but we knew that there had to be a good reason. I'm looking so forward to seeing you and Sammy and the Waborita's.Again...Thanks so much!!!
