Happy Holidays!!

Whew, is it Holiday season again already?? I hope all of you had a great year, and are ready to finish it off in grand style!! First, I want to wish everyone out there "Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year"!! Party hard , but party safe. Second, I want to update you on the status of "Chickenfoot". Chad and I just got back this week from recording in the San Francisco area, and I am pleased to say that the basic tracks are finished and smokin'!! Right now Joe is sprinkling some guitar magic on everything, and next week Sam will be doing vocals. Then I'll be back up there to slather some backround vocals on everything. I can't wait for all of you to check it out!! Look out 2009!!!!! Take care, and I'll see ya soon....Michael

Wow, I just thought I'd check up on the SPINE of Van Halen and Van Hagar after watching some pathetic video from Van Wolfgang. I read the Rollingstone blurb about finding a "real" name or whatever...what's wrong with Chickenfoot? I don't care what the name is, look at the all-star lineup! The signature "sound" of Van Halen is ANTHONY (although some props to Alex on the drums with his unique style). The background vocals you created and sang CONSISTENTLY through live performances were (and would have continued to be) "complete". Looking forward to some real ROCK. Let Chickenfoot RUN!

Until Eddie pulls his head out of his you know what, van halen is nothing more than a cover band without your stage presence and background vocals. You're the best Mike! Cool as the other side of the pillow and crazy as a killer bee. I don't care if you play with a high school jazz band, I'll drop the $$$ just to see you have fun making the music fun. Long live Mike and the old VH line up.

We're heading into a Depression Mike. 2008 sucked, and 2009 is going to be worse. I'm glad your happy, but your price point on the sauce doesn't reflect the sea of utter despair that precedes the fall of Rome; 5 DORRA'!

Mike you rock. Can't wait to hear your new music. Your hot sauce is the bomb. Please don't let it be like Sammys Livin' it up cd. It's good but it DOESN"T ROCK. Hope yours Rocks out. Van Halen is nothing without Sammy and You. HATE DLR. Keep rocking and having fun.

Happy New Year Mad Anthony! I am still mad that I did not get the pick you through me last year! I have one of Eddie's from 5150. I am a married mom of three in my forties and I will continue to come to your concerts as long as you play! My mother gets distraught every time I go! I have to say some of these balding air guitar playing old stoners are hilarious to watch. Cbass@flash.net maybe someone can contact me and send me pick! Keep rocking!

Nobody does "back up" (I'd prefer to call it auxiliary lead) vocals like Michael. But of course Mike's to humble and classy to say it himself--and that's why we love him. I'm always telling people: listen to those classic VH records, it's Michael Anthony's voice all over those choruses. I certainly hope that there's plenty of your voice on those hooks. You guys are all great, and I can't wait to hear the new stuff.
